Are you passionate about building modern, scalable, and secure enterprise applications? We are looking for a Junior .NET & Angular Software Engineer to join our team in Bogotá and contribute to the development of innovative web-based solutions in a collaborative, technology-driven environment. Location📍 Bogotá, Colombia (Hybrid) What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET 6+, Angular, and modern software engineering practices.Build secure, robust, and high-performance applications leveraging object-oriented design, service-oriented architectures (SOA), and domain-driven design (DDD) principles.Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas and technical expertise.Collaborate closely with Architects, Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and Development Managers to deliver high-quality solutions.Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Web APIs.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across the technology stack.Contribute to troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Identify opportunities for technical modernization and recommend enhancements to existing systems.Support the technical evolution of products by evaluating emerging technologies and best practices.Participate in talent acquisition efforts and knowledge-sharing activities within the engineering team.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience developing software using the Microsoft technology stack.2+ years of experience building web applications with Angular.2+ years of experience working with SQL databases and SQL Server.Hands-on experience with .NET 6+, C#, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, and Web API development.Experience with SOA and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).Knowledge of application security, including authentication and authorization concepts.Understanding of infrastructure architecture and DevOps practices.Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).Experience working in a science-related, research, laboratory, healthcare, or similar technical environment.Availability to work in a hybrid model in Bogotá.Preferred QualificationsStrong documentation skills with a focus on process improvement and technical excellence.Deep understanding of software design patterns and their practical implementation.Experience modernizing legacy applications, including migrating Windows Forms (WinForms) solutions to modern browser-based architectures.Familiarity with automation and AI-assisted modernization tools.Strong experience deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure.Microsoft certifications related to software development or cloud technologies are a plus.What We OfferOpportunity to work on impactful enterprise applications with modern technologies.Collaborative environment with experienced architects and engineering leaders.Exposure to cloud-native solutions, application modernization, and emerging technologies.Professional growth and continuous learning opportunities.Hybrid work model based in Bogotá.If you are a proactive engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building high-quality software, we'd love to hear from you.
