Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage, nursing assessments, and continuous monitoring of vital signs for moderate to high-complexity patients.
• Safely administer medications, strictly adhering to medical prescriptions and international patient safety goals.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing technicians and assistants during shifts, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality care.
• Provide direct assistance in invasive procedures, medical emergencies, and critical care situations.
• Develop and implement Nursing Care Plans (NCP) and maintain meticulous documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Day in the Life

A registered nurse's day is fast-paced, clinical, and highly collaborative. It starts with the shift handoff, receiving detailed clinical updates on assigned patients. Throughout the shift, the nurse conducts physical assessments, develops care plans, coordinates the clinical assistant staff, administers specialized medications, and assists physicians in complex procedures. Between updating electronic medical records (such as Epic or Tasy), responding to emergencies, and comforting patients' families, the nurse acts as the central pillar of patient safety and care delivery.
